Prepare all ingredients ahead of time and work quickly for this one.
Boil 8 ounces of macaroni in salted water and drain. Prepare a 10 ounce package of frozen mixed vegetables as you like them or as the package suggests. I like to steam them and then do a quick stir fry. Combine your macaroni and the vegetables in a large bowl and toss. You can add 8 ounces of hot cooked ham or pepper bacon bits. Add one diced green pepper, about three-quarters-of-one-cup of mayonnaise, a good handful of pitted and sliced olives, a little salt and a little pepper. You can also add roasted red peppers and garbanzo beans.
