Do this in the evening or at night.
You will need:
* 2 egg whites
* One-quarter-cup of sugar
* 1 6-oz. package of union-made chocolate bits
* One-quarter-of-a-cup of walnuts cut into pieces
* One tsp. of vanilla
Heat your oven up to 350. Beat your egg whites 'til they're stiff and add the other ingredients. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Drop the cookie mixture onto the cookie sheet. Place that in the oven and turn off the heat. Don't open your oven door or worry about it. Take them out in the morning.
A version of this recipe appears in Cooking the Coalwood Way, produced by the Coalwood Community United Methodist Church in Coalwood, West Virginia in 2002.
