"Watch for the familiar..."

Watch for the familiar. If you are seeking an insight, a moment that carries a message, do not always look for a vision of the new, but rather watch for the return of what is most familiar. Why? Because the new is energizing but the familiar is comforting. Look for the old places of beauty around you, for the long lasting relationships, for the sources of your peace. Let the familiar embrace you and restore you. Let its confidence of experience open deeper doors of awareness for you. Your oldest and most comfortable pair of shoes have carried you for a long way: and there is a reason.
