"I was one of the flying kids, maybe you were too. Maybe you still are."
"I was one of those kids who liked to fly. As a little boy I would race through our small house with arms stretched out in front of me like Superman. I would zoom through our gardens, navigating the corn stalks as if they were buildings. And yes, I did have a cape of an old towel to help others know to stand back so they wouldn’t get in the way of another desperate rescue. At night I would not even need the cape as I dreamed of soaring above the clouds, weightless and swift as a hawk. I was one of the flying kids, maybe you were too. Maybe you still are."
