"Open your heart, your mind, and your spirit. Release the spiritual energy within you."


"I want to share a spiritual exercise that has helped me and I hope will help you as well. It is an exercise designed to help with the implosion of hope that comes in times of stress, our instinctive protective reaction of folding in ever more tightly on ourselves, closing down and going within. To offer a counterweight to this instinct try standing or sitting as upright as you can. Be still for a moment. Close your eyes. Pull your shoulders back. Hold your arms out. Open your hands. Lift your head and feel yourself opening up to the universe. Open your heart, your mind, and your spirit. Release the spiritual energy within you. Let it go out into the world around you. Open your eyes and breathe deeply. Believe again that through faith all things are possible."
