I know that many people have done versions of this song. Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings did especially memorable versions. But today I heard the version done by Hazel Dickens and it moved me. I have not heard it in many years. I think that this song explains so much of what we see on the news these days. Think a good thought for the people on both sides of the gun because neither side is the right side.
