Cottage Cheese Pie

Combine four tablespoons of sugar with three tablespoons of milk in a large bowl, add in two eggs (unbeaten), and mix everything up.

Add one of the twelve-ounce cartons of cottage cheese. Use the small-curd kind---you don't want a mess on your hands.

Throw in a good handful of currants, or some other kind of dried fruit that you like. Dried apricots, plums or dates will work just fine.

Mix everything up and pour it into an unbaked pie shell.

Sprinkle on some cinnamon or nutmeg. I've heard of people using ground cloves.

Bake this at 400 degrees for about 45 minutes. Test it by sticking a knife in the middle; when it comes clean, the pie is done.

Let it set and cool
