The unions are an important part of the movement for social justice in the U.S., though not every union member understands this and not every union leader will say so. We need people of faith---and especially people of faith who are union members---to build a spirit of social justice in their workplaces and unions and to build bridges between our places of worship and our unions and workplaces that will help us win justice.
